LESSONS WITH WORKBOOK

8 lessons and accompanying exercises

The textbook is divided into eight lessons, with each one treating a single broad topic. Each of these opens onto sub-topics. All topics and sub-topics are illustrated by examples from culture and everyday Serbian usage. Each chapter has exercises addressing vocabulary, stylistics, grammar, and conversation.
The workbook is likewise divided into eight lessons that follow the range of topics of the lessons in the textbook. It consists of exercises for vocabulary expansion, the correct use of idioms, and grammar corresponding to the main text. Lists of the verbal perfective/imperfective pairs that appear in the exercises are included at the end of each workbook lesson. Each assignment’s solution is given at the end.
The workbook is prepared as a PDF that can be obtained from Azbukum’s website via the link located within the textbook.

AUDIO RECORDINGS

A rich reservoir of audio material

The audio recordings form a rich reservoir of audio material, and offer various situational and narrative examples. They are extremely useful at the advanced level of Serbian study because they help you better understand it as it is spoken, just as they help to master the natural melody of the Serbian language.
