AZBUKUM PRIVACY POLICY
By visiting the Azbukum website and using Azbukum’s online services (the content of Azbukum’s website, AOS, e-books, platforms, and mobile applications), you express your consent to the provisions of Azbukum’s Privacy Policy. During your visit to our website or while using Azbukum’s online services, the following data will be recorded: the IP address currently used by your device (such as a computer or mobile phone), date and time, type of browser and operating system of your device, and the pages accessed. This data is collected for the purpose of data security, as well as for optimizing and improving our online services. The processing is legally based on legitimate interest (Article 12, paragraph 1, item 6 of the Law) to protect our website and improve our services. Any other data processing, except for statistical purposes in anonymized form, is carried out only within the scope of the data protection notice.
Additionally, personal data is stored only if you provide it to us from your own account, for example, as part of a registration, survey, online application, or contract execution. We have taken appropriate technical precautions to ensure that data is encrypted during registration or other service-related login processes—i.e., protected from unauthorized access. Do not use Azbukum’s services if you do not agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement governing your use of the Services.

1. Data Protection
Personal Data
Through its website, AOS platform, e-books, and related mobile applications (hereinafter: “Azbukum”), Azbukum collects certain personal data in order to make our products as effective as possible. We also require your personal data, as well as data about your interactions, usage, and experience with Azbukum’s programs. This data enables us to provide a personalized experience, improve the reliability of services, prevent spam or other malicious content, and enhance the functions and features of Azbukum’s services.
Azbukum will not use personal data nor extract information from it for advertising or similar commercial purposes. “Personal Data” includes all data—such as text, audio, video, image files, and software—that you or your end users submit to Azbukum through the use of Azbukum’s services. Personal Data does not include Administrative Data, Payment Data, or Support Data.
You provide personal data through the registration form (during payment), while other data is collected on the basis of your choices, learning pace, results, as well as questions, comments, ideas, or suggestions you share in communication with the AOS team of experts.
If you refuse to provide the required personal data, we will not be able to conclude the legally required contract for providing services; and if this relates to an existing product you use, we may be required to cancel it.
Data Storage Location and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU/RS)
The Azbukum Association, Centre for Serbian Language and Culture, located at Dragiše Brašovana 18, Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia, registration number 08616370, processes your data, which is stored by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, and processed at the Azbukum Center in the Republic of Serbia. Azbukum adheres to the principles of privacy and personal data protection defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, applicable since 28 May 2018 (https://gdpr-info.eu/), as well as the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 87/2018) (hereinafter: the “Law”) and other applicable regulations. Azbukum is responsible for the processing of personal data, except in cases where we can demonstrate that we were not the cause of any damage.
Personal Data Recipient
In accordance with legal obligations and only based on a written request from competent state authorities (e.g., courts, police, administrative bodies), we will provide or enable access to the collected personal data to such authorities or other authorized recipients. When necessary, personal data may also be shared with trusted partners (processors) for the purpose of fulfilling rights and obligations arising from a contractual relationship with the Customer, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Every request, complaint, or inquiry will be resolved as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from the date of receipt. The deadline for responding to a request may be extended by an additional 60 days, if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. You will be informed of any extension and the reasons for it within 30 days from the date of receipt of your request. When receiving and processing your request, we will make reasonable efforts to verify the identity of the applicant and prevent unauthorized processing of personal data. If any of your rights related to personal data processing are violated, or if you believe that your data has been processed contrary to the Law, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Administrative Data
Administrative Data includes information provided during registration or subscription, such as: first and last name, email address, country of residence, preferred language, information required for issuing invoices, data related to your account or subscription. Azbukum uses this data only for: creating and administering user accounts, contract execution, communication related to the service, customer support, compliance with legal obligations.
Course Data
Course Data includes information created during your use of Azbukum programs, such as: the courses and levels you attend, your learning progress, results on tests and tasks, time spent on the platform, interactions with lessons, e-books, and multimedia content. This data helps us: personalize your learning experience, improve course quality, develop new functionalities, resolve technical issues.
Profile Data
Profile Data includes information you choose to share voluntarily on the platform, such as: profile picture, short biography, interests related to learning, communication preferences. You decide whether and to what extent you will provide this data.
Shared Content
Shared Content includes content that users submit on the platform, such as: comments, questions, suggestions, assignments or uploaded files. By submitting Shared Content, you grant Azbukum the right to store and display this content within the platform exclusively for educational purposes.
Payment Data
When you make payments, Azbukum or authorized payment processors collect: payment method, transaction ID, amount paid, date of payment. Payment card information is processed exclusively by certified payment processors; Azbukum does not have access to your full card details.
Promotions, Surveys, and Contests
If you participate in promotions, surveys, or contests, we may collect the data necessary to conduct those activities. Participation is always voluntary.
Amendments to Data Protection Provisions
Azbukum reserves the right to update the Privacy Policy when necessary, in order to comply with legal requirements or improve the protection of personal data. All amendments will be published on the website, and the date of the most recent update will be clearly indicated.
2. Use of Cookies
Azbukum uses cookies (small files that websites send to your device to uniquely identify your browser or store information within your browser) for purposes such as analyzing service usage, personalizing your experience, facilitating login, and recognizing you upon returning to the website.
Data collected through Azbukum’s Services is used for:

• conducting and organizing surveys and promotions;
