These Terms and Conditions set out the rules and conditions related to the use of the website by the purchaser of goods or the user of Azbukum services (AOS programs and e-books).

Customers/Users

Only individuals over the age of 18 may make purchases through the online store www.azbukum.edu.rs. Each customer is required to provide accurate information when placing an order. Upon registration, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms of Use.

After completing the registration on www.azbukum.edu.rs, the customer confirms that they have read and understood the Terms of Use, that they are fully informed of and agree with these Terms and Conditions, and that they agree to use the website in accordance with them.

The right to use the website is non-transferable to any other natural or legal person. A registered user is personally responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords where applicable.


Purchase Conditions

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 27 of the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette of RS 88/2021), the Association Azbukum – Center for Serbian Language and Culture (“Azbukum”), Novi Sad, sells goods (printed books) and services (AOS programs and e-books) through the website www.azbukum.edu.rs.
Sales are conducted within the registered activities of the Association Azbukum – Center for Serbian Language and Culture, Dragiše Brašovana 18, Novi Sad, Serbia, Reg. No.: 08616370, Tax ID: 100450456, Phone: +381 21 417668, www.azbukum.edu.rs.

Purchases made through our online store www.azbukum.edu.rs are considered distance selling under the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette RS, no. 88/2021).

Azbukum will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information on its website, including prices of goods and services, is up to date.

The address for submitting complaints is: kontakt@azbukum.edu.rs in accordance with the decision on online sales.

The sales price of goods and services is indicated next to each item.

Basic product and service features can be found on www.azbukum.edu.rs.

Goods and services sold through www.azbukum.edu.rs possess the characteristics necessary for regular use and comply with their intended purpose as defined in the product or service description. Conformity of goods and services is determined solely according to the characteristics and intended purpose stated on the website.

Azbukum is obligated to deliver goods and services that are in conformity with the contract. If they are not, the customer who has notified the seller of the non-conformity has the right to request that the seller rectifies it.

Purchases of goods or services offered with special price conditions and/or promotional incentives (sale promotions) are carried out in accordance with the terms published on www.azbukum.edu.rs.


Prices and Payment Terms

All prices are displayed in the national currency (RSD).

If the price of a product changes during order processing or the price displayed on the website does not match the actual price of the product or service, Azbukum will allow the customer to cancel the purchase or confirm the updated price.

Products are billed according to the prices valid on the date of the order, as published on the website. Prices, payment terms, and promotional offers apply only at the time of payment and may be changed without prior notice.


Currency Conversion Statement

The amount for which your payment card will be charged will be expressed in your local currency through conversion based on the exchange rate applied by the card organizations, which is not known to us at the time of the transaction. As a result of this conversion, minor differences from the original price listed on our website may occur.


Protection of Confidential Transaction Data

When entering payment card information, the data is transmitted in encrypted form using SSL protocol and PKI system. Payment security is guaranteed by Banca Intesa ad Beograd, and the entire payment process takes place on the bank’s pages. Card data is not available to our system.


Customer/User Privacy Protection

Azbukum is committed to protecting the privacy of all its users/customers. We collect only the data necessary for successful business operations, in accordance with good business practices. All collected data is strictly safeguarded and available only to Azbukum for business purposes.

Processing of Goods Orders (Printed Books)

When ordering printed books, the customer must provide an accurate delivery address, email address, and phone number under the name of the purchaser, so that Azbukum can verify the authenticity of the order.

The customer may cancel the order at any time before the electronic order confirmation is issued; once it is issued, order fulfillment begins.

The moment of sale is defined as the moment when the customer receives an email confirming the order.

The customer must personally receive the ordered goods or authorize another person to receive them. The purchaser or authorized recipient confirms receipt by signing upon delivery.


Delivery of Goods (Printed Books)

Before shipping printed books, Azbukum reviews the order and packages the goods appropriately for protection during transport.

Azbukum strives to maintain the most up-to-date information on its website, particularly regarding prices of goods and services.


Return of Goods and Refunds

In the event of returning goods and obtaining a refund for a customer who has paid by credit card, Azbukum – Center for Serbian Language and Culture processes refunds exclusively via VISA, EC/MC, Maestro, Amex, and Dina payment methods. The bank will, at the seller’s request, process the refund to the customer’s card account.

The purchaser of goods (printed books) and services (electronic textbooks and/or AOS programs) is obliged to report any non-conformity of the ordered goods or any issues encountered while accessing or using the AOS platform.

Complaints regarding goods (printed books) must be submitted to the seller electronically via email kontakt@azbukum.edu.rs.

Complaints regarding goods in the form of electronic textbooks and AOS program services must be submitted via email to aoserbian@azbukum.edu.rs.

Azbukum Center will, without delay, and no later than 8 working days from the receipt of the complaint, regardless of whether it concerns goods in printed or electronic form, or AOS program services, confirm receipt of the complaint electronically and provide a response to the customer regarding the submitted complaint.

The seller’s response to the customer’s complaint must include a decision on whether the complaint is accepted, an explanation if it is not accepted, a statement regarding the customer’s request for resolution, and a concrete proposal specifying the timeframe and method for resolving the complaint if it is accepted. The deadline for resolving the complaint cannot exceed 15 days from the date the complaint was submitted.

The seller is obliged to act in accordance with the decision and the proposal for resolving the complaint, provided that prior customer consent has been obtained. The deadline for resolving the complaint is suspended when the customer receives the seller’s response and begins anew when the seller receives the customer’s reply.

The customer must respond to the seller’s answer within 3 days of receiving it. If the customer fails to respond within the prescribed timeframe, it will be considered that they do not agree with the seller’s proposal from the previous paragraph.

If the seller is objectively unable to fulfill the customer’s request within the prescribed timeframe, they are obliged to inform the consumer about the extension of the complaint resolution period, specify the new timeframe, and obtain the customer’s consent, which must be recorded in the complaint register. The extension of the complaint resolution period is allowed only once.


Non-Conformity of Ordered Goods and Services

The purchaser of goods (printed books) and services (electronic textbooks and/or AOS programs) is obliged to report any non-conformity of the ordered goods or any issues encountered while accessing or using the AOS platform.

The purchaser of goods (printed books) must check upon receipt whether the contents of the shipment correspond to the order and whether any damage occurred during delivery. It is necessary to inspect the package and not accept it if there are visible damages. Complaints about damages must be immediately submitted to the delivery service.

If the goods (books) are delivered damaged within the original packaging, where the damage was not caused during transport, the seller is obliged to replace them free of charge or refund the paid amount to the customer and terminate the agreement regarding that item. All costs necessary to bring the goods into conformity with the contract, especially transport costs, are borne by the seller.

If the goods (books) are lost during transport, which is beyond the seller’s responsibility, assistance in tracking the shipment within the territory of the Republic of Serbia will be provided by the seller. If the goods have crossed the border of the Republic of Serbia, the seller cannot provide assistance in another territory, and the customer is responsible for locating their shipment.

If, upon receipt of the goods, the purchaser determines that the goods (printed books) are not suitable or do not conform to the contract, they have the right to request that the seller remedy the non-conformity, i.e., to replace the item within 14 days with another. Complaints of this type must be submitted to the seller electronically at kontakt@azbukum.edu.rs.

Complaints regarding electronic textbooks and AOS program services must be submitted via email to aoserbian@azbukum.edu.rs.

Processing of Service Orders (AOS Programs and E-Books)

When ordering Azbukum services (AOS programs and/or e-books), the customer must provide all required data in the registration form so that Azbukum can verify the authenticity of the order.

The customer may cancel the order up until the electronic payment confirmation is issued; once confirmed, the delivery of the ordered service begins.

The moment of sale is defined as the moment when the customer receives an email confirming the order.


Delivery of Services (AOS Programs and E-Books)

Azbukum sends all necessary access credentials for AOS programs and/or e-books to customer’s/user’s email address provided in the registration form.

The customer/user is responsible for safeguarding his passwords and maintaining the security of his own account.


Amendments to Terms

Azbukum reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Serbia and for the purpose of improving services. All amendments will be published on the website and apply only to new orders.
If the customer does not submit a complaint regarding the amendments or does not cancel the existing order, it will be considered that they have accepted the updated Terms and Conditions.

The customer is responsible for reviewing the Terms and Conditions before each order, as changes may occur between visits or as a result of updates.

Any modification, addition, or repeal of the Terms and Conditions takes effect upon publication on the website, unless otherwise specified.

Azbukum also reserves the right to change and timely suspend or discontinue the online store service.
