AZBUKUM

Azbukum is the first independent centre for the study of Serbian as a foreign/non-native/heritage language. Courses for adult learners of Serbian at Azbukum are accredited by the authority of the Republic of Serbia. It has been operating continuously as an independent educational institution since 1995. Serbian language learning programs for adults at Azbukum are accredited by the Qualifications Agency of the Republic of Serbia.

SERBIAN FOR ACADEMIC STUDIES

Anyone planning to study in Serbia (undergraduate, master's or doctoral programs) is required to have a high level of knowledge of the Serbian language. The accredited preparatory program of Azbukum is designed so that in a period of 6 to 12 months, the level of knowledge of Serbian necessary for further university education can be reached. The length of the program and intensity depend on the student's initial level of knowledge and his/her linguistic background.

    AZBUKUM TEST CENTRE
    At the Azbukum Centre you can test your knowledge of Serbian, whether you want to find out what level you are before starting the course (Diagnostic Test) or to receive a Certificate of Proficiency in the Serbian Language (Official Proficiency Tests).
    The tests are prepared according to the accredited Azbukum scale of knowledge and are fully aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). The content and scope of the test depend on the age of the candidate and the level for which the test is intended.
